New Methods, New Prospects: Using Open Data to Fuel Your Pipeline

Feeding qualified individuals into an organization’s pipeline is a key component to prospect research. Although wealth screenings through various vendors help to accomplish this task, the price of such services make them a luxury that many organizations are unable to afford. In an effort to mitigate this disparity, this presentation will introduce prospecting methods utilizing open data that any organization, big or small, can take advantage of.

Through the use of NYC Open Data and other open database sources, attendees will learn how to use free public data sets to identify wealth and affinity within their organization's prospect pool. At the end of the presentation, attendees will know where to search for open data and how to match their organization’s constituents to prospective individuals of interest discovered in public data sets using Excel.

We are looking forward to seeing you at ProspectCon 2025 THIS FRIDAY April 4 at Baruch College (The William and Anita Newman Vertical Campus Conference Center--55 Lexington Avenue at East 24th Street)!

On-site registration opens on the 14th floor at 8:30AM with coffee and pastries.

We invite you to pick up lunch from one of many nearby places and join your peers and colleagues for informal roundtables and networking from 12:30 to 1:30PM.
